Brent Presley here, Director of Fleet Performance at M&W Logistics in Nashville, TN, and I want to give a big congratulations and thanks to M&W and all of its drivers for winning the TTA’s 2015 Clean Diesel Leadership Award. This award recognizes organizations that have made significant, measurable improvements in air quality through the development and/or implementation of clean diesel actions. Through M&W company efforts to reduce emissions by investing in more efficient equipment and fuel saving devices and driver efforts in reducing idle and focusing on fuel efficient driving practices, we expect our CO2 reduction this year to be near 800 metric tons. So far this year we have saved more than 55,000 gallons of fuel from being burned and we expect that number to be between 65,000 and 75,000 gallons by the end of the year. Not only are our vehicles running cleaner per gallon, but we are burning fewer of those gallons as well. It isn’t always the case in business that doing the right thing is the most profitable thing, but when it comes to fuel economy and reducing emissions, it is both the right thing and the most profitable thing. So again, I want to thank everyone here at M&W for their efforts in making us a leader not just in delivering America, but also in the safe, efficient and environmentally friendly way we do it. Green, is green, is green!
